Another AMAZING day at the races...i love IRL and i love race cars..sigh....we had a blast...joce, fritz, my dad, and me...we watched the whole race & I cheered dan on the whole way and he won!! his 6th race...and now pretty much taking the season...dan, you rock...will you marry me?:).. anyways..it was awesome and what can i say..i love car racing....there were tons of funny things happening....like when the skydiver with the IRL flag attached to him landed super hard. We whipped out the binoculars & he was pretty much laying on the ground..the ambulance rushed over there and put him on a backboard & the stretcher...TOO funny! i would have felt like a HUGE dork if that had been me..ha...jocelyn saw him give a little wave as they rolled him away.....
at least the IRL crowd isn't as "white trashy" as the nascar and arca crowd..sorry all you stock car fans...but you have to admit it....its true..IRL fans are tons better...
oh there was the cutest little boy sitting behind us at the race..i wanted to take him home with me...we gave him some ear plulgs cause he kept covering his ears..first of all, why the heck would you bring your 2 yr old to the LOUD races without ear plugs..but the best was he would smile when i looked at him and he waved too..SO cute..then fritz asked him" did you like the race?" and he said...."it was nice" how cute is that!
