So, tonight I am going to a White Sox Viewing party at the United Center-should be lots of fun-and if they win tonight they win the World Series!! YEAH!!!!
i am getting a new car this weekend..very excited about that..well...its not new..but new to me:) 4 door honda civic! ALRIGHT! no more chevys....ive had it with that car:) though my little black car has been pretty good to me....it has sucked in a large amount of my $$-for which i am NOT thankful for...yet it has kept me safe and sound in spite of that. goodbye little cavalier...you have been good to me all these years (ok, all 3.5 years) and i will miss......
-your color-black (my new car is going to be forest green-which is not my fav color)
-your peeling clear coat on the hood
-your non-working cd player
-your muffler starting to die
-your horn that works only when it wants to
-the sqeaking noise you have started to make when i turn the steering wheel
-the way your shocks sometimes make this WHACKED out clunking noise
-my ghetto steering wheel cover-leopard print (which i have pondered switching to the honda-but than again..maybe not:)
-your non-working remote entry (well, the lock & trunk key work-but not unlock-which is what everyone wants)
-all the $$ i poured into you
-your air conditiner that seems to have no medium setting-only high and off
-the fact that you are rebuilt because you were in an accident or flood-but survived quite well!
-the net in your trunk, so I can put all my groceries in there and they don't fall all over the trunk
-your low traction control-for all those times i need extra traction
-your low oil & power steering fluid that I always have to "top-off" or fill
-being afraid that you will fall apart at any given second
-Last of all..the memories:
-taking you to the chevy dealer MANY times
-getting 2 new tires after popping them both at the same time
-your stereo which has a setting to get louder as you drive faster
-the ghetto-ness of you
-i have been many places & traveled with many people in you
i think that is about it....its been good...goodbye dear cavalier..HELLO HONDA CIVIC!!
