my eyes are about to die...i have been working on the grad student services/international student services website all stinking day! well..actually the last 2 weeks have been spent on it..and my eyes are getting so tired of looking at the computer and getting this new website all squared away....words and code are floating around in my brain...
so..i joined facebook and its funny cause im not even in school-good thing i work in an educational institution-it gives me the email address required to have a faceboook account:) anyways...im slightly....in a very small way..addicted to it..its fun to see who is on there and their pics....i keep checking it out as im sitting here at work...what a nerd! im not even in college anymore! but i do have 31 friends..so hey, thats not bad for a non-college student:)
today i called comcast about our cable and internet..the nice lady offered me a good deal..well..not really..im pretty sure its the same deal she offers everyone but she said: "I am not really allowed to do this, but for you-i will". well gee whiz...wasnt that nice of her? too bad i dont believe her...but at least i got a good deal out of it...discounted internet and cable-still..thanks to one of my friends friends i had the idea to call comcast and tell them i wouldnt be able to keep their service if they didnt offer me a deal.....my friends friend had told me one of his friends did that-and it worked!...anyways...so the comcast lady lady ..she also mentioned something about her partner/girlfriend watching shoot em up movies and how she doenst like them, so she uses the lovely comcast internet that i will be able to continue using..why couldnt she have just said partner and not added girlfriend...i hope she didnt have a phone crush on me and that is why she gave me the deal-..oh well..you do what you have to...so..it was a very enlightening phone call i must admit....
