such is life....

so my grandpa fell down yesterday and fractured part of his leg...im not sure the exact spot...anyways...he was taken to the ER and today he had surgery...he wont be able to put any pressure on his leg for the next 12 weeks....and my grandparents are going to have to move to assisted living so they can be taken care of...sad..i feel so bad for them...their independence is pretty much completely gone now-that has to be a sobering thought and feeling. so...hopefully his recovery will go well and he will eventually be able to walk...its going to be a long process

on the other hand.....one of the guys upstairs came down and told us he smelled natural gas this eve....and yeah...we didnt....but we just opened our windows to air it out just in case....wouldnt that would be lovely....dying from a natural gas leak..

so..lets see..countdown to the race this weekend...5 days til sunday!! AHHHH....yeah!! i am so stoked....i cant wait!! luke is going with me..so it should be LOADS OF FUN!! and hopefully dan wheldon will win....if he wins he might get pretty close to the lead position in points.....which would be awesome....that would bring him closer to winning the championship...
