this weekend was good..hung out with the fam..spent some time in champaign, leaf piles and cornfields. i also did something I have NEVER done before..stood in the middle of my grandpas pond! of course...it is all weeds now and i have no fear of snakes or snapping turtles...well..at least water snakes...but yeah...its sad to see it that way, but also awesome how nature has taken over and "healed" this hole in the ground. nik and i also opened the closet at my grandmas that contained almost endless supplies of toliet paper and papertowels...i think she is set for the next 3 years....
i also got this AMAZING Fisher Bunnies sweatshirt...which you will see displayed in the pictures below...def. my new favorite fashion item.HA..j/k...but it is pretty priceless...only one place you can buy these...and thats fisher, il...that happening town.
we still have no heat in our apt. it was time to put my down comforter on my bed...to which i was quite thankful, b./c i slept so well and was so warm last night:) but i will be so glad when all this apt. drama is over...AHHHHH!!
i have a dr. appt today at 5 and thats about it...then i can come home and continue to enjoy my day...my dad comes up on friday...he is running the chicago marathon on sunday and my mom will be up here on saturday and sunday. my dad is also so stoked that he can eat in the wheaton dining hall with me next monday..HA! he loves food...and i think the dining hall will be one of his greatest food experiences:)
