place to live!!

so everyone-i have found a place to live starting August 1 !! God is so great-We were all getting a little nervous-it was getting close to the time to move out and my current landlords are selling the house we live in right now-which is a whole other super annoying issue. So, this new place: it is cheap and all utilities are included!-even cable!:) its a 3 bedroom apt-on the main floor of a 2 flat (i think its called a flat) -there are 4 wheaton grad school guys upstairs & a married couple below in the garden apt-the guy is a grad student too-WHEATON PRIDE!:)-ha-good thing im a part of the wheaton college community & another of my roommates is a grad student-we had priority over those other people because of that-rock on for wheaton college! But, it is so great! It is still super close to campus, but on the other side of the tracks-directly south of the tracks and the building I work in!. Mindy & I were just like--NO WAY-this is too good to be true when we saw it and how cheap it was-so we called right away and took it-it was a pretty sought after place. So, thanks Lord! your awesome. I always get myself down and frustrated with things like this-but God ALWAYS provides and he provided this in such a quick time. The ad was up yesterday morn and if I hadnt called about it-we would, most likely, never have gotten it! YEAH!!

i went to a picnic with some moody friends last night-there were about 15 of us-i was annoyed-some people im not super good friends with or very fond of at that-but i dealt with it. It was downtown at 31st street beach-which was pretty but there were tons of nasty bugs flying in the air-little black things-annoying. Why are there certain people in life that you just dont like hanging out with? i think there are some people you are just not meant to be friends with-you are just different. But when you get mixed up with them it makes it awkward and annoying-i dont like it and therefore get annoyed when i have to go to events with these types of people.

next week im going to cornerstone! rock on for the big Christian music fest. A little camping, rocking out & having fun. Then i get to see the great chicago fireworks with all of the other trillions of people that make their way downtown. as we all know, im not a patriotic person and don't like american pride-but the fireworks are fun to watch-i just don't view them as a celebration of america-but just as something fun to watch. Actually, when i think about it-they represent all the things that i dont necessarily agree with-oh well...im not looknig at them in that way.

so, i got invited to this random open house for some information technology thing and if i go i get a free IPod Shuffle-so of course im going! EXCEPT-i have NO stinking idea what it wil be about-i am going to have to bull my way through it all and pretend i know what im doing-this could be funny! ill fill you in tomm.
