i ended up going to my parents again this weekend...i hadnt been to the nursing home to see my gpa so i decided i should go home again since it is my last free weekend for awhile.
.so nikki had free pool passes to this new "aquatic center" in champaign...with water slides, pool, and lazy river. mom, her and i went there on saturday...i got to use my new swimsuit...good times....anyways...the lazy river and pool were great..i havent been to a public pool in ages..it was funny..but we had a blast...and got some more sun..which i always enjoy. i washed and vacuumed my car when i got home and watched cops with nik-quality tv viewing..
today we went to bloomington....grandma went with us b/c she wanted to ride in my car (which used to be hers) she likes to ride in it when she can...so cute...im sure its the many memories of my gpa that are associated with it.....it will be 3 yrs ago he died on the 15..i cant belive it has been that long, yet not that long at the same time..so we drove to the nursing home to see my grandpa..he was looking good-it was nice to see him...we picked up my OTHER grandma there and went to look at a new assisted living apt for her and my gpa to move into. we waited and hung out in the dining room/family area for awhile....just chilling..she decided to move in there...which is a huge relief for my parents and all of us...but now we have to move all their stuff....at least they dont have FAR as much as my other grandparents:)
so it was a good weekend....i had some other options of things to do this weekend, which all would have been fun, but im really glad i was able to go home to see my grandpa and my grandmas as well.....
nikki moves up here next week....on saturday..so that will be exciting....other than that i think my week is going to be pretty normal...which i guess is a good thing....normalcy:)
