**SATURDAY** (see below pics for sunday)
dang today was a good day...GREAT weather...so many funny people and funny things. Jos and i had a blast...watching qualifying, racing, girls dancing provacatively in the back of their truck, bean bag tosses, the dumb arca race, the pro series race, funny rvs, and much more. the best part of my day was ??! MEETING DAN WHELDON!! AND getting a picture with him! SIGH....I have to give Jos credit for this pic....she rocks!! i was so freaking excited to get it!!:) I also got to meet Scott Dixon...who is pretty much just as cool as Dan....so it was a great afternoon. Tommorow is the race-cant wait!! this will determine the champion for the series! its the last race of the season...it should be good. im meeting my dad there in the morning as well...good father/daughter time!:) my new camera-which arrived yesterday-worked so well!! except that its 8.1 mp and takes forever to upload the pics onto stuff...oh well...im listening to the new john mayer cd..what can i say?..ive got the right connections to get it early:)-its good...definitely my new favorite cd of the moment ...ok...enjoy the photos...i will be enjoying the one of dan and i-HA!
**SUNDAY**
Because I like the pic of me and dan so much i dont feel like spoiling it with a blog entry above it....hence why i am putting sunday info down here:) The race today was AWESOME! Dan rocked it-and won!!! But he didn't win the IRL championship..sigh...he was tied with sam hornish to win..but sam won 2 more races this season-giving him the chance to break the tie.... anyways....it was rainy and nasty this morn so dad and i just sat in the car and waited for the rain to go away...and it did! we got to see the whole race...no accidents..the Penske & Ganassi teams were passing everyone up-it was so awesome. So yeah...it rocked...I even caught a glimpse of Gene Simmons!! He was in a golf cart motorcade with a bunch of cops....so im sad the season is over....i will have to wait until april for more IRL fun.... Anyways...i have some more pics...it was like tailgating madness outside the track today....funny racing flags all over..people grilling and drinking...craziness..i even had this man turn his back to me and take a pee..WHILE i was sitting in my car eating lunch! AHHH...sick...
it took like 1.5 hours to get out of the track which was not so fun....craziness..but its all so worth it! I LOVE the IRL!:)
